Same food. Same workouts. Same you. And somewhere in the last two or three years your body stopped responding, and the only answer you got was "this is just age" or "it's probably perimenopause."
It's the belly that showed up out of nowhere and won't leave no matter what you cut. Bloating that has you unbuttoning your jeans by 2pm. Wide awake at 11, staring at the ceiling at 3, dragging yourself out of bed at 7. Losing the word mid sentence. Snapping at the people you love most over absolutely nothing.
Turning away when he reaches for you. Not because anything's wrong between you, but because there's just nothing there anymore. A blood pressure number your doctor wants to "keep an eye on." Fifteen minutes standing in a full closet with nothing that fits, already late for work.
Perimenopause is real. It's also not a dead end. Hormones, gut, inflammation.
All three can be tested with the right labs, and all three can be fixed.

Tired of waking up at 3AM for no reason. Wide awake, staring at the ceiling. Then dragging through the next day running on fumes.
Tired of belly fat showing up out of nowhere. You didn't do anything different. It just appeared. And it won't leave.
Tired of the bloating after everything you eat. Doesn't matter if it's salad or pizza. By dinner you look 6 months pregnant.
Tired of labs coming back "normal" but feeling anything but. So you leave the doctor's office with no answers and no plan.
Tired of doing the same things that used to work. And getting absolutely nowhere now.
What worked at 35 doesn't work at 45. Not because you got lazy. Not because you're eating too much. Because your hormones shifted, your gut changed, and your body is playing by a completely different set of rules now.
You can't out-diet a hormone problem. You can't out-exercise a gut problem. You have to fix what's actually broken first. Then the weight comes off.

Phase 1: DETOX (Weeks 1-4) The bloating goes down, the puffiness in your face and hands goes with it, and the 3pm crash stops running your afternoons. Then we run the two tests almost nobody orders for you, a DUTCH hormone panel and a GI-MAP stool analysis, so you finally see in black and white what your hormones, cortisol, and gut are actually doing. Most women tell me this is the first time in years anyone has taken them seriously.
Phase 2: HEAL (Weeks 4-10) You start sleeping through the night. The fog lifts and you can hold a thought again. Nothing here is generic, because your protocol is built off your labs, not a template. This is the phase where your body stops fighting you.
Phase 3: SCULPT (Weeks 10-18) Your clothes fit again. You stop dressing to hide, and you stop scanning every photo for the angle that makes you look smaller. The scale finally moves and keeps moving, because now your body is actually able to let the weight go. This is where most of the 15 to 30+ pounds happens. But the part women actually talk about isn't the number. It's catching your reflection and recognizing her.
Phase 4: RECOMPOSE (Weeks 18-24) You get stronger than you've been in a decade, and the confidence follows it out of the gym. You book the trip. You say yes to the photo. And because we spend these weeks building muscle and stabilizing your metabolism, this is where the results stick for good. You leave knowing exactly what your body needs, which means you never have to start over again.

A couple years ago, I hired a fat loss coach. Did everything right. Calorie deficit. Hit my macros. And my body did the exact opposite of what it was supposed to do.
I didn't lose a pound. I actually felt worse.
Turns out, I had estrogen dominance, early insulin resistance, and my cortisol rhythm was completely shot. My thyroid? In the gutter. But my doctor said my labs looked 'fine.'
They weren't looking at the right things.
Once I ran the real tests and actually addressed what was going on... I dropped 10 pounds in six weeks. Without dieting. Without killing myself in the gym. Just by clearing the inflammation and letting my body do what it already knew how to do.
I'm 45. I have kids. I've dealt with stress I didn't even realize was affecting my hormones. I'm not someone who figured this out twenty years ago and forgot what it feels like. I'm in it. Right now. Same as you.
That's why I built Lean for Life. Because I know what it's like to do everything right and have your body fight you anyway. And I know what it takes to fix it.
I have been around the fitness industry since 2008 and have since helped 1,000+ women in both perimenopause and menopause lose stubborn weight when traditional diets didn’t work. I'm excited to help you too!

Fitness and nutrition has always been a big part of my life from my early teens on. In fact, I dedicated my education to exercise physiology, a certification in macro nutrition coaching and lived the lifestyle for years! I stayed lean and toned doing what I love - working out and eating healthy. I, honestly, didn’t give menopause a second thought going in because I was so “healthy”. Imagine my surprise when I turned 50 and gained 15 lbs, started having aches and pains all over, my sleep suffered, my stress was through the roof and I had no energy!
Those changes fueled my search for answers and my desire to help other women tackle this transition from their reproductive years through menopause. I spent the decade of my 50s searching for answers. For years, I coached using macro tracking, but found that some women (like me!) just didn’t respond to a calorie deficit like they should.
I went down the rabbit hole of weight loss resistance and realized that there is so much more to losing weight than just a simple calories in/calories out formula. Inflammation matters. Thyroid health matters. Insulin resistance matters. Cortisol levels matter. Liver detoxification matters. Autoimmune issues matter and so much more! Once I solved my deeper issues, I was able to hit my weight loss goal with ease – no tracking macros, no starving myself and at 58 years old!
I have been blessed to have worked with hundreds of women since I started coaching in 2021. My goal is to help women in midlife lose the menopausal weight gain so you can feel like yourself again and enjoy long lasting health!

Hi, I’m Jenn!
I’m a Certified Integrative Health Practitioner with training in functional wellness, lab testing, nutrition and herbalism.
My interest in this work began in 2003, when changes in my own health led me to look more deeply at how the body functions as a whole. That experience shaped my belief that meaningful progress comes from understanding the bigger picture and building realistic, sustainable practices.
I support women at every stage of their wellness journey, whether they feel stuck, overwhelmed, unsure where to begin or ready to take their health to the next level.
As part of the MCFIT team, I provide personalized guidance, encouragement and accountability while meeting each woman where she is.
My goal is to help women feel informed, supported and confident as they build healthier habits that fit their lives.

You're a woman 40-60 and something's off. Weight won't budge, sleep is wrecked, energy is gone. You know it's hormones but nobody's actually helped you figure out what's going on.
You've done the diets. They didn't work. Calorie deficits, keto, macro counting. You've tried it. Maybe lost some weight. Gained it back. You're not looking for another diet. You're looking for answers.
You're willing to do the testing. DUTCH, GI mapping, blood work. You want to know what's actually happening inside your body, not guess.
You're ready to commit to 6 months. This isn't a quick fix. It's a full reset. You're in it for real results that last, not another 30-day thing that fizzles out.
You can invest in yourself at this level. This is premium, high-touch coaching. It's priced like it. And you're ready to prioritize your health like it matters.
You want to lose 10 pounds for a vacation. This is root-cause work. If you just need to drop a few pounds fast, this isn't it.
You're not willing to track your food. Tracking is part of the process. Not forever. But for now. If that's a hard no, we're not a fit.
You want a meal plan handed to you. I'm not giving you a PDF and sending you on your way. I'm teaching you to understand YOUR body. That takes participation.
You're not ready to look at what's really going on. The testing reveals things. Sometimes things you didn't expect. You have to be willing to address them.
You just want to "see if it works." I need you all in. If you're on the fence, wait until you're not.
Because i'm ready
Lean for Life is a 6-month 1:1 coaching program. There are multiple different investment options that we will discuss on our consultation call.
Yes. There are different payment plan options. We can talk through what makes sense on your call.
Depends on what you need. Most clients do DUTCH hormone testing and GI mapping. Some need a full thyroid panel or blood work. We figure out what makes sense for YOU based on your symptoms. The tests ship to your door. You do them at home.
That's actually why most women end up here. Standard labs look at ranges designed to catch disease, not optimize function. We look at the full picture. Free T3, reverse T3, cortisol rhythm, estrogen clearance. The stuff most doctors skip. "Normal" and "optimal" aren't the same thing.
Most programs hand you a meal plan and hope for the best. We start with testing so we know what's actually going on. Then build your protocol around YOUR results. Not a template. Not what worked for someone else. Yours.
That's literally who this is for. Nothing worked because nobody addressed the root cause. You can't out-diet a hormone problem. Once we find what's actually off and fix it, your body starts responding again.
This is built for real life. Your nutrition and training are designed around YOUR schedule. Check-ins are every two weeks, about 30-45 minutes. You have direct access to me between calls. We make it work.
Check-ins are bi-weekly. You'll track food daily (takes 5-10 minutes once you get the hang of it). Training is designed around your availability, whether that's 3 days or 5.
We absolutely work with women on GLP-1s, especially if you’ve plateaued or suspect you’re malnourished. We can help optimize your nutrition and address underlying issues.
Helps, but not required. We can build a program around whatever you have access to. Full gym, home setup, dumbbells in your garage. We work with it.
The goal is for you to not need us anymore. You'll understand your body, know how to adjust, and have a plan that's sustainable. Some clients continue with ongoing support. Most don't need to.
If you do the work, you'll see results. That's not a tagline. It's how this works. We're fixing the actual problem, not slapping a band-aid on it. That said, this requires commitment. If you're not ready to show up, this isn't the right fit.
Right now we only work with clients inside the US. We do not currently work with clients from the UK or CAN.
Step 1: Apply
Click the button below and fill out a short application. Takes 2-3 minutes. It's not a test. It just helps me understand where you are and whether this makes sense for both of us.
Step 2: Book Your Call
If it looks like we're a fit, you'll get a link to schedule a free strategy call. We'll talk through what's going on, what you've tried, and whether Lean for Life is the right move. No pressure. Just an honest conversation.
Step 3: We Get to Work
If we're both in, we start. Your test kits ship out, your protocol gets built, and you get full access to me. Six months of real coaching begins.
Takes 2-3 minutes. Free call, no commitment.
